Yash Raj Films, the production banner behind the Siddharth Anand directorial “Pathaan”, has announced that the film will release in Bangladesh theatres on May 12. The movie, which features superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, initially hit theatres on January 25 and has garnered over Rs 1,000 crore worldwide at the box office.

Apart from Khan, “Pathaan” also boasts an impressive ensemble cast, which includes John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana. Produced by YRF, the action thriller has been one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year.

“Pathaan” marks Khan’s return to the big screen after a hiatus of nearly three years. The actor, who is widely regarded as one of the most bankable stars in the Indian film industry, last appeared in the 2018 film “Zero”. Since then, he has been busy with his production ventures and various other commitments.

Directed by Anand, who is known for helming high-octane action flicks like “Bang Bang!” and “War”, “Pathaan” promises to be a thrilling ride for audiences. The film revolves around the character of Khan, who plays the titular Pathaan, a rogue spy who finds himself at the centre of a dangerous game of espionage and betrayal.

Apart from its gripping storyline, “Pathaan” also boasts of some stunning action sequences, which have been choreographed by renowned Hollywood stunt coordinator Paul Jennings. The film’s music, composed by Vishal-Shekhar, has also been well-received by audiences, with tracks like “Ae Mere Dil” and “Matlabi Yariyan” becoming instant hits.

With its impressive box office collection and positive critical reception, “Pathaan” has been yet another feather in the cap of Yash Raj Films. The production banner, which is one of the most influential in the Indian film industry, has produced some of the biggest hits of recent times, including “Tiger Zinda Hai”, “Sultan”, and “Dhoom 3”.

The release of “Pathaan” in Bangladesh is sure to be a big event for fans of Khan, who enjoy a massive following in the country. The actor, who has been one of the most successful and popular stars in the Indian film industry for over three decades, has a huge fan base across the world, and his films have always been eagerly awaited by audiences.
