Kejriwal Supports Wrestlers Protesting Against WFI Chief Brij Bhushan Singh

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal recently met with wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The wrestlers have been protesting for nearly a week, demanding action against Singh, who is also a BJP MP, on sexual harassment allegations made by seven women players. The Delhi Police has since filed two FIRs against the WFI chief. Kejriwal showed his support for the wrestlers and urged all Indians who love the country to stand with them in their struggle.

Kejriwal stated that those who commit wrongs against women should be hanged. He later tweeted in Hindi, saying that all the women players who have brought laurels to the country are our daughters, and they must receive justice. No matter how powerful the accused is, he should be given the harshest punishment.

This is not the first time that Kejriwal has shown his support for those fighting for justice. He has previously backed farmers protesting against the government’s new agricultural laws and has also supported those fighting against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

It is essential that powerful individuals are held accountable for their actions and that justice is served for those who have been wronged. Kejriwal’s support for the wrestlers and their cause is significant, as it shows that the government is willing to stand up for what is right and just.
