He questioned which party the BJP leadership would eventually choose. He specifically referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah while making the allegation.

Attack on ZPM Government

Ngunlianchunga also criticised the ZPM government over what he described as a gap between its election promises and its actions.

He alleged that some government measures have increased the financial burden on ordinary people.

The Congress leader questioned the government’s approach to taxation, electricity billing and rice prices. He also raised concerns about the implementation of the Mizoram Universal Health Care Scheme (MUHCS).

Questions Over Health Scheme

Ngunlianchunga questioned why private hospitals in Aizawl had not received empanelment under MUHCS.

He compared the situation with hospitals in Delhi and Kolkata. According to him, hospitals in those cities have been included under the scheme despite higher treatment costs.

The Congress leader used the issue to question the government’s healthcare policy and its implementation in Mizoram.

Congress Confident of Comeback
